GES joined the Ministry of Education, Ghana Commission for UNESCO and other UN Agencies to observe the International Day of Education this morning.The team visited the St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Osu Presbyterian Girls Basic School.
The representative of the Director-General, Mr Stephen Owusu (Director in charge of Administration) joined the team. UNICEF donated “my first day” packs to GES, which he in turn distributed to KG learners at the Osu Presbyterian Girls Basic School.
Staff from the Ghana Education Service, the Ministry of Education, UNESCO, UNICEF, the British High Commission, FCDO, JICA and other Development Partners were in attendance.
